Our one-on-one and small group Pilates sessions focus on building core strength, stability, flexibility and body awareness. Pilates is integrated into rehabilitation for back pain, post-surgery recovery, pre- and post-natal care, and general movement improvement. Each session is tailored to your needs and progress.
Pilates is a form of exercise that requires concentration and focus - often referred to as
Mind-Body fitness. Correct muscle activation and control is key and aims at total body
conditioning.
Pilates exercises, with and without equipment, are designed to tone both the large and
small muscle groups of the body including the stabilizing and postural muscles. It is
beneficial for promoting muscle balance around joints and coordinating strength with
flexibility.
Our classes are run by a trained Physiotherapist.
